Understanding the Dashboard

The dashboard is your financial command center. It provides an at-a-glance view of your business finances and quick access to common actions.

Summary cards

The top row shows key metrics:

Outstanding Invoices — total amount of unpaid invoices.
Overdue — invoices past their due date.
Pending Bills — bills awaiting payment.
Monthly Revenue — total invoiced amount for the current month.

Activity timeline

Below the summary cards, the activity timeline shows recent events in chronological order: invoices sent, payments received, bills uploaded, and bank matches confirmed. Click any event to navigate to its details.

Quick actions

The floating action button ("+") in the bottom-right corner provides shortcuts to:

Create a new invoice.
Upload a bill or receipt.
Import a bank statement.

Sidebar navigation

The left sidebar provides access to all major sections: Dashboard, Invoices, Bills & Receipts, Bank Matching, Clients, Reports, and Settings. On smaller screens, the sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu.
